In an affidavit filed in the related civil proceedings former NDPP Mxolisi Nxasana has rubbished the presidential version of events leading to the settlement agreement we attack as corrupt. He accuses the president of perjury and Michael Hulley is guilty of an attempt to get him to give false evidence in the civil proceedings. The correspondence appears to bear out the version now deposed to by Nxasana for the first time. These allegations are dynamitic as the NEC of the ANC is currently seized with the task of deciding whether or not to recall Jacob Zuma or redeploy him elsewhere.
