Gail began her career as a Counselling Psychologist working with Teenagers. In 2004 she moved to London where she pursued her work with adolescents promoting Sexual Health and preventing Teenage Pregnancy.
Following an inspirational and life changing trip to India several years ago, Gail decided that she wanted to work with impoverished communities. She undertook a post graduate degree in development studies at Birkbeck University and then worked as a Project Manager supporting women from BAME (Black Asian and Minority Ethnic groups) communities to enter the job market. Having recently arrived back in Cape Town after ten years in London, Gail is interested in working with NGOs and making a positive contribution to South Africa’s transformation.
